At 11:56am on Saturday 17th September 2011, the Tour of Britain swooshed through my home village of Debenham in Suffolk. This was the 7th stage in the race - starting in Bury St Edmunds and finishing in Sandringham - and was the longest stage (200km) in the event’s history since 2004.
